Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
- 1 large egg
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon milk
- spices to taste (salt, pepper, chili flakes, italian seasoning)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Process
Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, parmesan, egg, milk, and seasonings
Step 2: Form the mixture into 16 1.5 inch balls
Step 3: Heat the olive oil in the skillet at medium-high heat
Step 4: Add the butter to the skillet and let it brown for a couple of minutes
Step 5: Sear the meatballs until golden on all sides (5 minutes)
Step 6: Add the broth and cover the skillet. Turn the heat down to medium and let the meatballs simmer for 6-10 minutes.
Step 7: Enjoy over rice or spaghetti squash!
